actually were cool. rodimus complained and was depressed all the time. plus optimus was the best. they barely showed soundwave and never showed shockwave or sunstreaker and sideswipe they didnt die in the movie. but wheelie got waaaaay too much airtime. but eventually the writers on the cartoon series thought it'd be wise to bring back optimus and have starscreams ghost return. that actually brought the show back on its feet again. blame it on the toy companies for bad market planning.

answer to primes death: hasbro wanted to issue a new line of toys including a new autobot leader "rodimus prime" and a rebuilt megatron to boost toy sales and change the pace of the cartoon series. unfortunately, in my opinion that was the "WORST" decision ever made many people hated hotrod/rodimus and blamed him for optimus' death. tf the movie was good but the series episodes kinda sucked after megs was galvatron. no jetfire,starscream,thundercracker,skywarp, or any of the transformers who --
